MY AH-MA IS LIKE THE CUTEST PERSON ON EARTH!
she came to my house today and she was so funny during dinner!
[FYI: my mum cooked steamed fish with ginger and salted veg...]
CONVO OF MUM AND AH-MA IN HOKKIEN:
{ah-ma picks up salted veg from fish and eats it}
MUM: wu bah le mai jia, jia kiam chye. {got meat(fish) you dont want to eat, go and eat salted veg}
AH-MA: kiam chye hor jia mah! {salted veg is nice what}
MUM: HAIYEEERR!
{mum picks fish and gives to ah-ma}
AH-MA: AIYO! wo ka ki aehiao ngeh la! {i know how to take myself la!}
MUM: jia la anae lor suo! {eat la, dont talk so much}
then i started laughing halfway then part of the food in my mouth almost dropped out...
i love sundays when my ahma comes to my hse.
she'll hog the tv and watch drama serials the whole afternoon and halfway will just doze off on the sofa...

i got angpao from her and my aunt today as an early brithday present!!!
